There are two convenient ways to reach our beautiful islands: by sea or by air. Below, you'll find links to the two main ferry routes and the airline that services our islands, making your journey easy and enjoyable. We look forward to welcoming you!

By Sea

All ferry routes to and from the Island are operated by Caledonian MacBrayne. Booking in advance is essential to guarantee passage.

 

There are 2 main routes which will get you to the Isle of Lewis.

​

1. Ullapool, Ross-shire - Stornoway Lewis (see timetables)

​

The first and fastest route takes you into the main town of the Islands called Stornoway, the accomodation is a further 25 miles North from there. There is free private parking within the accomodation if you decided to drive, however transfers are included in the cost of your stay from this port.

2. Uig Skye - Tarbert Harris (see timetables)

​

This  route is 1hr45mins and will take you into Tarbert, the main village/port of Harris and the accomodation is a further 65 miles north from there.​ **PLEASE NOTE: Transfers are not included from this port**

By Air

​

Our local airport is based in Stornoway, on the Isle of Lewis. It has direct flights to and from Glasgow, Edinburgh & Inverness.  Flights are operated by Loganair Flights are cheaper when booked in advance. Transfers to and from the airport are included in the cost of your stay.
